Playing with words

Image from My iPhone!

This just about sums up how I feel about making these little blocks.
For a while now, I've been making them and just stashing them away, ready for gifts etc..

Really, they are very leeeetle- look, here's my Whimsie owl next to some.
He looks a bit overwhelmed, doesn't he?

The teeny-tiny blocks measure 2x2cms and are quite cute, I think. Here's some more:

I've also made some slightly bigger ones (3x3cm- ish) too:

And here's a pic of them all together.

They're not quite finished- a coat of matt varnish should do it.

Would love to know what you all think.

  1. Fabulous, I say! They're so lovely. I particularly like the ones where a word is split over two blocks. And the striped ones are so happy. Endless possibilities here. Well done! C.x

  22. Take heed, they are definitely a goldmine.....what did they say in only fools and horses...'Rodney, we're going to be mee-leon-aires' I say don't give a tutorial and make people buy them to find out how they're done, bu then I'm prolly not half as nice as you ;-) as already mentioned Christmas themed ones could be a real money spinner! What you gonna call your shop? ;-)

I have just started the label process for my makes and it is on a luggage take with a stamped title - spooky! Or is it a case of great minds think alike. Have a fab week.
