Now cosy warm.

Not anything new- I've done the same sort of thing with tin cans before, and many other fabulous peeps have done similar.
But I just like it. It warms my cockles most merrily.
And I am craving autumnal warmth right now: 13 tog duvets, sheepskin boots, pub fires and chunky yarn made into anything on a 10mm hook.

Some simple back loop single crochet does it.

Really. It's that easy.

They are super gorgeous hon! I never ever get sick of these lovely wee covers. I love the colours you've used - very styley! I can't bring myself to throw any of our jars into the recycling anymore - for this exact reason!!!
Super cute! Love the colors too! They make me want to crochet up a cozy chunky cowl!!! (Your pictures are great too by the way!!)

You always take really lovely photos - do you have a fancy pants camera?
Love these... Are they really just single crochet all the way round? I'm an absolute beginner!!

Love this idea... I'm very new to crochet so only got a small hook but I might just have to invest in a big one and some lovely cosy chunky wool! xx
I love your jar covers, so textured and soft and such lovely colours. I found your blog through Brenda at Cozy Little House all the way across the pond....don't know why I haven't visited here before! Have a happy day.

Ooooh lovely - they look so cosy! I love the way that people who like crochet will always find a way to cover more things in yarn!! I might have a go at some of these myself at some point....!
You say all the right things. "Pub fires." Suddenly, I smell the woodsmoke, see the golden pint of beer, the craggy farmer in his muck boots and wool cap...cozycozycozy. Lovely. :)
Love this post, so made me want to get a big hook out
How sweet are these, I love the netural colours.
I know what you mean about autumn, I want it to get cold outside, stew on the cooker, lamps on and gorgeous scented candles burning - bring it on !!

Very nice! You inspired me to do a tin can before. I did one and then got distracted with something else, but really, I think they are ace and must make more!
