Fairy Toadstool Crochet

Just a quickie post.

Crochet toadstool

This is a little amigurumi crochet I have been working on. It wasn't particularly difficult, and I 'used the force' (that's a proper crochet term, right?) when it came to creating the pattern: made in two pieces, filled with rice in the bottom to give it some weight and decorated with crochet, felt and beads.

Hope you like. X

  5. Thanks for your kind comments, everyone!
    I enjoyed making this.
It stands about 17cms tall, so not too tiny.

  14. OMG...do you believe in coincidence or do you think that's rubbish and that all things in life are "planned"? You're asking where I'm going with this, right? Well, I just finished making a crocheted cupcake this morning. This is not my first, nor will it be my last, but it's sitting here in front of me in limbo because I'm trying to puzzle out how to fill it. I've used fiberfill on the others, but they don't have enough wait and tend to want to lurch to one side or t'other. And I happen to open up this post and read through it. Gah! Rice! Genius! Thank you!!!! And I also LOVE the toadstool and will need to try to do one of those too! Off to hustle up some rice...why didn't I think of that????? x&o, Annette

  17. Dearest Annaboo,
I wanted to share with you the toadstool I made from your pattern. I wanted to finish it but it was past midnite and I didn't have the adornments I wanted so I used what I had on hand. I think it turned out so cute. Please let me know what you think. Thanks ever so much.
