Handmade vintage votives

A simple algorithm:

Empty jam jars and charity shop tumblers
+ vintage lace trims and garden twine
= elegant vintage votives

  22. WOW! Beauties - such a great idea! I'm pinteresting these too so I remember to have a go at them sometime. I eat French yogurts that come in little glass pots and have quite a collection now - been wondering what to do with them and now I know. They look soooo nice lit like that.

  30. I think these are brilliant in more ways then one. If only I had a mantle piece, (or even a fire place!!) We dont even have internal windowsills! Such is life. But they will make wonderful presents.

I mean, it seems pretty simple, just hot glue? I'm not too crafty but want to get into it more. I may make some of these for Christmas presents.     I used a glue called 'tacky glue'. You should be able to find in craft shops or on t'internet.
